Pollinators
Was gonna rub some pods together to help pollinate, but i think I’ll let nature handle it.

Question: What happens if I 'top' my kratom plant short?
Answer: You'll possibly get a double trunked bushy kratom.... and during the summer, it will even have lots of leaves too! a nice thick bush. Easier for me to pick leaves from 😀 SourceAnother youtube strike. This t
Another youtube strike. This time for a live stream we did. No sales content in the video it was just a loop of 10 older videos as a test on how to do streams with obs.

despite being pinched regularly (the plants, not me), they now tower over me.
the phalaenopsis orchids are budding... all 3 of them. 😀 I'll hide them under the kratom trees next spring.
they should like the subtropical climate under the branches they are being 'forced' into bloom for the holiday season. Lots of phosphate fertilizer. Well, maybe just a pinch.... SourceETA left lots of the older lea
ETA left lots of the older leaves on the ground. Time to get the leaf bagger on the lawn mower🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
really cleared out the old and made room for the new flush of reddish autumn leaves.

My father has been living with a bad back pretty well since he broke his neck at age 18. I have been insisting on him trying kratom for almost a decade. Finally here is my mom picking leaves for him to brew a nice tea. Pain management is getting more and more difficult as it is already difficult on the body and liver. He couldn't move without some form of relief. I am very relieved to have him open his mind to more methods of management. He still very much needs surgery, but thankful for a plant that helps him have a better every day💕 Does anyone else use this beautiful plant to manage their pain without fear of damaging your liver? Just sitting here wondering how kratom trees handle moves and how people go about doing that. If anyone has any stories on moving trees, successful or not, I would love to know of any and all experience with this.

Kratom seed pod viability success
Sent a friend of mine some of my kratom seed pods. He said he's getting 50% viability from 6 month old kratom seed pods. These seed pods came from fully mature American kratom trees. He said he just followed my instructions

SourceMealy* Bugs on Mitragyna
Hi everyone! I've been quite inactive lately, moving between a few jobs and getting busy with life and holidays. I looked in my tent after ignoring it for weeks and weeks, finally to give it some water for the first time in four or five days, and i noticed something distressing!
The white splotches and the brown domes/globules shown are actually two different stages of the same type of Pseudococcides, Mealy bug, or possibly Coccides, scale bugs. Apparently they are difficult to identify, difficult to remove, and are often confused for fungal infections. I thought it was fungal at first, but further research reveals they are a common insect pest of Rubiaceae.
I watered my plants before realizing, but will probably try to apply light neem oil spray soon. Additionally, physically picking and removing bugs, wiping away with qtips and isopropyl, or spraying off with water are also options. I'm mot super fond of neem since it has a propensity to burn stomata when humidity is high or sun is up. I might go purchase some spinosad for this purpose.
Check your plants! Stems, nodes, under and over leaves. Pests take many shapes and forms, and require different remedies.
Bonus pic: my LED light heats up and is killing gnats and flying pests like male mealy/scale bugs. Who needs sticky tape and poison when you can harness the burning power of the sun? 😉

A modest but healthy & organic Turmeric harvest.
I only got a few pounds, but that's twice what I harvested last year. It's a great organic potentiator for Kratom. Pretty flowers too. Usually available at whole foods stores or Asian markets. A handful of little 'bulbs' is only a dollar or two, and can plant a large area of beautiful plants with magnificent leaves and white orchid-like blossoms in late summer.

Working on electroforming some Kratom Leaves
Here's my first go at forming copper onto a fresh leaf. Going to have my love play with the voltage and experiment with me further 💕 has anyone created anything with the leaves, flowers, branches, or seed pods? We are constantly doing arts & crafts and I would love to share more of what we create! My next project I would like to try is using resin to preserve for an eternity 🥰
